Jaron Winder, my favorite presenter at Stampin' Up! events, showed a tin pot with pens that look like flowers made out of chipboard. I thought it was just so incredibly cute that I had to duplicate it! My planter is slightly bigger as I wanted a dozen flowers....I mean, pens. And the best thing about these flowers is that I can't kill them! Seeing as how I kill every plant, flower, bush....it's no wonder I liked this project so much! The pens are wrapped in Wild Wasabi cardstock. Flower tops use chipboard colored with our Craft Stampin' Spots. The white flowers are embossed in order to get the nice crisp white color. Flowers are attached with our pop up glue dots. I used dry beans to fill the pot and then topped it off with Chocolate Chip crimped cardstock strips.
