I had my first class in the 'new stamp area' on Thursday evening. I very much enjoyed the evening...it is just really nice to get back to it. Below is a picture of the new area or at least half of it. This is the back area that has all the 'supplies' and my table area. The front half that you don't see is where I set up the other tables for attendees. The absolute best thing about this area are the white boxes with drawers. All the labels help me find everything very quickly. Sometimes I feel like I have spent half my life 'searching' for stuff...and it drives me insane! I positively don't like clutter. Notice I didn't say that I do not HAVE clutter! <giggle> I just feel like I never have enough hours in the day and the older I get the more frustrating it gets to spend time on a search and rescue mission for that elusive pair of scissors.
I haven't quite finished tweaking the Sweetbriar Designs area since moving the stamp things out, but will do so this weekend. Have to buy another filing cabinet for product catalogs and a few more tables and storage bins. But, I am excited to have this area done. We have a double booth at the South Boston Harvest Festival this coming weekend so I want to be organized and ready for that! These shows are a huge part of our business during the fall. Not to mention with the exposure you receive they are a very economical choice for 'advertising dollars'. It's hard work packing and carrying all the storage bins but certainly worth the effort. When you have a limited advertising budget, choosing the right avenue is crucial. But that is a whole other blog post. I'll quit for now and just post the stamp picture. Hope everyone crazy enough to take a few minutes out of their day to read this has a wonderful Saturday! :-)
Thanks, Missy. It IS time to stamp like old times! Cindy, Gloria and Sarah were here Saturday night...we missed YOU!!! Shelley couldn't make it either. Hopefully we will have another night before too long.

Lisa, it looks so nice. It's time to start stamping like old times. (lol) Sorry I didn't call you back but didn't get message until next day so I figured it was to late to help. Hope all is well.
