A GREAT GIFT...

Let's start with why I haven't posted in a while...my internet has been down for about a week!  The cable company that I use for high speed service has been telling us that it is not a problem on their end.  Finally, I convinced them last night that it HAD to be on their end.  The technician that came out today confirmed it was on their end!  I don't know how life was ever lived without internet and cell phones!  :-)

Now to stamping...the last two years I have offered a class that makes a GREAT present for the holidays.  Stampin' Up! sells the desktop scrapbook calendar.  The left side is a 6x6 scrapbook page, the right side is the calendar.  Here are July and December pages for this year's calendar!  I have to say that the July page was super fun...I used a snowflake set out of the current mini catalog called Snow Burst.  When I first saw the set, I instantly thought several of the stamps would make good fireworks!  Hope you all agree!

SCRAPBOOK PAGES...

It's like the carpenter who never gets anything built for himself.  The only pages I seem to get completed are the ones for my classes.  Why is that???  I have never thought of myself as a 'western' type girl...but I absolutely can not get enough of Stampin' Up!s Boho West theme this fall!  I love all of it.  Wasn't sure what pictures I would have to go with this theme but decided to use it for a page of SU! convention pictures.  As usual, I didn't have nearly enough people pictures....so had to add some projects to the pages! 

SCRAPPIN' WITH SU!

Last night I had my monthly Scrappin' with SU! class.  My favorite part about doing this class is that it gives me an opportunity to get some of my personal pictures in albums.  You know how you always here that the professional carpenter never gets anything built for his own home....well, it's so true.  I used to accomplish more scrapbooking before this was a business for me.  But having said that, I wouldn't change anything.  There aren't many people who can say that they truly love their job.  I am one of those few...and the 'good' in my job far outweighs any of the bad!  Here are a the pages that I did.  The Vacation Fun page was a layout that Tina Smith did.  She is in my downline and one of the most creative people that I have encountered!
